This was a great read. Steve was swoon worthy. He's your next book boyfriend. I cannot wait to read book 2
I loved this book so much. It was sweet and romantic and amazing. I'm so happy that their were no bad things in it because it was beautiful. I just loved it and cannot wait to read the next one. Hopefully there will be one about Curtis, Callie, and Will!
I am a sucker for the caveman, over the top alpha males. Independence is what she wanted from her overprotective brother and father. Hannah goes away to college, and right into the love of another highly alpha male.
As book one of a new series, Crazy Good Love sets the standard for those that follow. Steve and Hannah over the top love is instant. Virgins by choice for him and protective upbringing for her, we get to watch them navigate their desires.
The basic premise sounded good, and I thought I knew what I was in for. It seemed like a fun read that I could knock out in a couple of hours. I can neither stomach nor swallow a tale where a girl's father AND brothers select her wardrobe, including undergarments. In some cultures this may be true, but the typical American father would not personally select his daughter's clothing choices but would, rather, expect the mother to do so if he disagreed with how young girls dressed. It's simply not believable enough for me. I gave up halfway through chapter one; hoping for a refund.
The premise of the book wasn't bad- I can deal with over the top insta love and even the ridiculously over the top protectiveness of all the male characters- but I could not get past the writing style. The author simply told you what had happened, what was happening and what would happen. There were minimal conversations between the characters, which made it difficult to connect with them.
I finished the book because I felt that in order to leave an honest review I needed to but the style of writing made it difficult.
Hmm this wasn't what I expected. I expected a short read and a lot of hot sexy times. Don't get me wrong, there were sexy times but it is wrapped up with feelings and innocence. I understand why others were bothered by the writing style because much of it was story telling and mostly in the h's pov, like diary style or you being stuck in her head as she goes over the events. Since I know going in that the writing style was different, it didn't bother me much.
This is a love story and of a woman's sexual awakening and self exploration. She never had sex talk with her parents and she was very sheltered so she doesn't know much about that. I got to see how she analyzed and asked herself why she is feeling the way she is and explored what will make her feel good. The H and h are both virgins and along in developing their friendship and love, you get to see their journey on their sexuality. This is also about family and commitment.
I think some might get bored with the story since it is about a young virgin H and h and their love story that ultimately of course ends up in them getting married. If you are looking for a fast and sex filled story, this isn't it. The words that keeps popping in my head the whole time I was reading this is pure and innocence.
This book is safe, both virgins, no ow and om.
